Thursday, June 15, 2006 The forum is back, but since Tokikenshi is the owner of this site's menu, I couldn't update the link. I guess I'll have to bug him to give group permissions on all his files. In the meantime, the forum can be accessed here. -rpgking Tuesday, June 13, 2006 - The state of things In short, I was sidetracked with lots of stuff which mainly consisted of real life...so I didn't work on DWL for close to a year. More than once, I even said I'm going to cancel DWL...but this was just me venting my frustrations at other things. Recently, I have been working on the game steadily and I've made some significant progress. It's probably not very interesting for me to describe exactly what I did since it's mostly technical stuff, but the majority deals with the main menu system and all the other systems linked to it. Oh, and gannon, if you're still around I'd like to hear from you again... You can email me at rpgking24@gmail.com. I've been trying to resurrect the forums, but sourceforge's upgrade seems to be a pain to work with and the forum system is not recognizing the write permissions on certain files. Oh well, I may just resort to an EZ board or something temporarily. -_- Oh, and I had no clue that sourceforge scrapped their old databases to upgrade to the newest mySQL, so that means that everything that was on the forum before is gone...forever. -rpgking Saturday, December 24, 2005 - Minor updates Just a minor update. We realize the forum is messed up beyond recognition now, but there are no plans to resurrect it until some more significant progress is made on this game. Basically, I'm rewriting it from scratch in Verge 3, and screens of the progress can be seen. More updates will follow... -rpgking Friday, January 30, 2004 - The latest design! I have done something horrible. I... I rewrote the site even though I'm not a webdesigner anymore. Yes, I know. Now it's all black and... black. I hope you enjoy it though, since it's a helluva lot easier to maintain it than it was before. :P And yeah, Majestic Pixel is what we call the company responsible for DWL these days. rpgking is still the author, owner, chief, alpha-geek, god and copyright-holder, but I replaced myself with the company since I feel that I've not done any work that is worth a slice of the copyright.
